Questions about each
4ka
How much does a 4ka roaming pack cost?+
Roaming packs start at €5, and travel passes are priced by data allowance and the number of days you buy. Coverage runs to Europe including Switzerland, Serbia and Turkey, Greenland, Canada and the USA, and Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia. The UK, Ukraine and Moldova roam at home rates under the SLOBODA plans.
Is 4ka data really unlimited?+
Unlimited data is listed for home use in Slovakia, and the fair use policy caps how much of it can be used in the EU. Shared plans carry a smaller allowance at home and across the EU, with extra data sold on top. Read that cap before a long EU trip. The roaming map runs to 18 countries.
Chunghwa Telecom
How much does a Chunghwa Telecom roaming plan cost?+
Prices start at TWD 388. The bundle covering Japan and Korea is TWD 588, and the range is sold for both short trip and long trip, so a longer stay can be planned with top-ups rather than a new provider.
How much data do I get on these plans?+
Data comes as bundles by the gigabyte, with the Japan and Korea option at TWD 588. A fair use policy also applies: once your daily allowance is used, speeds are slowed and you are told to avoid long video streaming, hotspot sharing and software updates.
