Short stays and long sits

Listings include short house sits as well as long term house sitting opportunities, so a sitter can match the length of a stay to their plans. Owners post their home and pets, while sitters browse the latest sits from around the world. Sitters can look at references, video profiles and past house sitting experience before agreeing to a stay. The exchange keeps the focus on animal care in return for a comfortable place to live during the trip.

Purpose behind the service

The company's focus centres on the happiness of animals and on lowering its environmental impact by linking pet care with home sharing. That focus shapes how sitters and owners are matched, with attention given to the time and care a pet receives. The business treats people, pets and the planet as parts of one shared goal, which sets the tone for the community it has built and gives members a shared sense of purpose.
