The business behind the exchange

TicketNetwork, Inc. is a company founded in 2002 that works in the ticketing industry. Its online exchange brings ticket buyers and sellers together for concerts, sports and theatre events, and it covers more than 150,000 events worldwide. The business also builds a point of sale product used by ticket sellers. Its wider tools power a network of exchange services that reach thousands of events, so the operation runs across many genres of live entertainment.

Opera, music and cities

Opera and classical productions sit alongside pop and comedy, with performances staged in New York among the examples. Events are arranged by city, so a traveler can plan an evening in New York, Los Angeles or Brooklyn around the date they want. Live music in those cities runs across rock, blues and other styles. Because the marketplace covers so many genres, one trip can mix a play, a concert and a sports fixture in the same city.
