What is Networks?

Networks are the mobile systems a plan runs on, at home and through partner operators abroad. The partner, not the brand, decides the connection you get in a given country. 1&1 (1und1) runs on 1&1 Mobilfunknetz (Open RAN) and Telefonica Germany (national roaming), so its reach abroad depends on roaming agreements rather than a single owned network. A1 Slovenia lists a wide partner set across Europe and beyond: Vodafone, O2 and Orange. A1 Macedonia and A1 Serbia name regional partners across the Western Balkans and neighbouring markets, while 2degrees lists 2degrees and One NZ. Read the partner list before you buy if you are going somewhere specific.
