What is Booking fees?

A booking fee is an extra charge a travel seller adds on top of the fare or room rate. A&O Hostels charges none and its prices include VAT. Air Canada Vacations charges none either, though a change fee starts at a set amount per person. Aer Lingus charges a direct booking fee when you book by phone or at the airport. 12Go notes that service, convenience or cross-border fees may apply, and Air New Zealand has no booking fee online but a contact centre fee applies.
