Pros and cons
Pros
- It is a carrier offer, so the profile and the network sit with one company.
- Support reaches you through help centre, chat and phone without leaving the operator.
- Instant activation is listed under instant activation and carrier plan.
Cons
- Unlimited data is not offered, so heavy use pulls in the extra daily bundle under the fair use allowance.
- Coverage is regional, so it is not a worldwide eSIM.
- The network list is Yettel alone, so there is no host network to pick between.
Who it suits
- Travellers taking a regional trip who want the eSIM sold by the carrier itself.
- People who mostly browse, map and message and are fine with a fair use allowance.
- Holidaymakers who prefer a monthly plan with setup handled at purchase.
Who should look elsewhere
- You need unlimited data: Zwitchy offers it, this plan does not.
- You are comparing purely on entry price: eSIMGo.is starts at $0.99.
- You are travelling beyond the regional area this plan covers, where SimToIsrael starts at $25 as one option to price up.
Coverage and networks
Yettel Pass tourist eSIM runs on the Yettel network, and the plan is scoped as regional. That means it is built for trips inside the area Yettel serves rather than for worldwide roaming, so check the country list before you buy for a long multi-country trip. Inside the region you connect to the network that also sells the plan, which keeps the setup short.
Who runs it
Yettel Pass tourist eSIM is sold by Yettel Magyarorszag Zrt., based in Hungary, so the seller is the carrier itself rather than a marketplace. Support reaches you through help centre, chat and phone. That mix means you can open a help centre page, start a chat, call or read the community without leaving the operator's own channels.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Yettel Pass tourist eSIM cost?+
The tourist eSIM starts at HUF 1,000. The monthly fee bundles a daily data allowance, and if you go past it you are offered an extra daily bundle that is charged only on the day you use it. So the base price is fixed and the extra data follows your actual usage on the day.
Does the plan include unlimited data?+
Unlimited data is not part of this carrier offer. The plan runs on a fair use allowance, so heavy streaming, tethering or constant maps can pull in the extra daily bundle. Zwitchy lists unlimited data as available, which is the point to check if you need it.
Which countries does the plan cover?+
The plan is regional, and it runs on the Yettel network. It is built for trips inside the area Yettel serves rather than a global roaming eSIM, so check the country list for your destination before you buy. For a multi-country trip you would want a wider plan.
How is the eSIM activated?+
The plan is sold with instant activation and carrier plan listed among its features, so activation is set up as part of the carrier plan rather than as a separate manual step. Being a carrier offer, the profile and the eSIM come from the same operator that runs the network.
How do I get help if something goes wrong?+
Support runs through help centre, chat and phone, all from the same operator that sells the plan. You can open the help centre, start a chat, call or read the community, which is useful if the eSIM does not install on the first try. Buying direct from the carrier keeps the help inside one company.
Who is this plan for?+
It suits travellers on a regional holiday who want a carrier plan rather than a marketplace bundle. Plans start at HUF 1,000 and the daily allowance suits normal browsing, maps and messaging. Travellers who need unlimited data or a global eSIM should look at the alternatives instead.
Is there a cheaper option to compare?+
On entry price, yes. eSIMGo.is starts at $0.99 against HUF 1,000 here, so a traveller shopping only on price may prefer it. SimToIsrael starts at $25 for a different destination instead.
