World eSIM review

Coverage lists 200 countries and the region is global. Instant activation appears in the feature list, so a plan does not sit waiting on arrival. Plans are picked by destination and duration from a marketplace catalogue.

Unlimited data is offered and sits in the feature list. The fair use policy keeps unlimited plans without a hard cap while pointing to a daily reference amount of use, and fixed data plans slow or stop once the allowance is used. Coverage spans 200 countries.

A marketplace, not a carrier. The model is listed as marketplace and the seller type as marketplace, so the plan you choose sets the network you get rather than a single house network covering every country.

Hotspot sharing is supported, so a phone can share its connection with a laptop or tablet. Hotspot appears in unlimited data, 5g and hotspot alongside unlimited data, instant activation and the newest mobile network generation, and the brand covers 200 countries for trips that cross borders.

Support runs on email, phone and help centre, and a help centre sits alongside phone and email. Top-ups are available, so a plan can be extended rather than replaced if a trip runs longer than planned. The brand has been trading since 2011.

Its stated audiences are short trip and long trip, so both quick breaks and open-ended stays fit. With 200 countries covered and unlimited plans under a fair use reference, it suits travellers who cross borders often and would rather not buy a local SIM each time.

Cost depends on the package and destination, since plans are sold through a marketplace. For context, the median listing price across the site is €5 and the median price per GB is €1.50, so compare the specific plan before paying.

The company behind the brand is VISION USA CORP., founded in 2011 and based in the US. It operates as a marketplace, so coverage comes from the plans it lists rather than a single house network, and the support team answers on email, phone and help centre.
