Pros and cons

Pros

  • Unlimited data and unlimited minutes ship with the bundles, with a fair use policy setting its own conditions and limits.
  • Hotspot sharing and instant activation both appear in the feature set (unlimited data, 5g and hotspot), and 5G is listed.
  • Top-ups are available, so a bundle can be topped up rather than replaced, and the region covers local and global.

Cons

  • Unlimited data sits under a fair use policy, so the conditions and limits it sets decide how much heavy use is welcome.
  • Bundles run week by week, so a long trip means buying them again, with entry at €4.99.
  • Support runs on phone, email and help centre only, so anyone wanting live chat or a community forum has to use those routes.

Who it suits

  • Travellers on short trips who want unlimited data, 5G and hotspot sharing.
  • Readers who want the same operator for an Italian SIM and a weekly bundle abroad, with top-ups when data runs short.
  • People who read fair use conditions carefully and want a named Italian operator to answer questions.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Price-first readers: eSIMGo.is starts at $0.99, the smaller outlay.
  • Travellers who want a plan for a single market rather than local use plus roaming, where SimToIsrael starts at $25.
  • Anyone who prefers the network they already have at home, since MTN's travel pass starts at NGN 5,000.

Price per GB and validity

Very Mobile sells weekly travel bundles, so validity follows the week. Plans start at €4.99. US and Turkey bundles carry the most data, UK and Switzerland bundles sit in between, and Japan, Thailand and Mexico bundles are lighter, with a smaller world bundle alongside. Each bundle sets a fixed weekly allowance, so price per GB follows the data in it.

Frequently asked questions

What does a Very Mobile bundle cost for a trip to the United States?+

A US bundle is priced at €9.99 for the week, which matches the Turkey bundle. UK and Switzerland bundles carry less data and sit near the €4.99 entry point, while Japan, Thailand and Mexico bundles cost more for a lighter allowance.

Can I use Very Mobile as a hotspot for a laptop or tablet?+

Hotspot sharing is listed as supported, and instant activation sits in the same feature set (unlimited data, 5g and hotspot), so a bundle can be live quickly and shared with other devices. Sharing draws on the same plan, where unlimited data still runs under the fair use policy.

Can I use Very Mobile in Italy as well as abroad?+

Very Mobile is a mobile virtual network operator based in Italy, and its region covers local and global. A European bundle is priced at €9.99, and weekly bundles are sold for the US, Turkey, the UK, Switzerland, Japan, Thailand and Mexico, plus a world bundle.

How do I get help from Very Mobile?+

Support runs on phone, email and help centre, so you can call, write by email or use the help centre. No live chat or community channel is listed, so questions go to the operator directly. Top-ups are available too, which is the quickest fix if data runs out early.

Does Very Mobile offer 5G and a quick setup?+

5G is listed, and it appears with unlimited data, hotspot sharing and instant activation in the feature set (unlimited data, 5g and hotspot). Instant activation is the part that matters in travel, since a bundle can be set up without a long wait before the first connection.
