Our verdict
Telia FI suits travellers who want a plan from the network operator itself rather than a travel eSIM marketplace, with 5G, instant activation and a carrier setup. Bundles start at €25.20, which sits above the site median €5, so it trades price for carrier service.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Sold by the carrier itself rather than a marketplace (carrier), running on its own network (Telia).
- 5G and instant activation are both listed among the features (5g, instant activation and carrier plan).
- Europe and the EEA roaming is included in the monthly fee in the reference prices.
- Support runs on email, phone and chat.
Cons
- Starting price of €25.20 is above the site median €5, and it ranks 299 of 313 on price.
- Unlimited data is not offered on the travel bundles listed.
- A fair use policy can treat sustained EU and EEA roaming with most traffic outside Finland as unreasonable use and add a surcharge after a warning.
Who it suits
- Travellers on a Telia Finland plan who want the same home network abroad.
- Anyone whose trip sits mostly in Europe and the EEA, where roaming is part of the monthly fee.
- People who want help by email, phone and chat before departure and on the road.
Who should look elsewhere
- Travellers who want unlimited data: Zwitchy offers unlimited data where this brand does not.
- Price-first shoppers: eSIMGo.is starts at $0.99, well below €25.20.
Coverage and networks
Coverage runs on the operator's own network, listed as Telia, and 5G is available on the service. The destination scope is marked global, which puts destinations well beyond Finland and its neighbours. Travellers use the same network abroad that runs the plan at home, rather than a partner network.
What data costs
Travel bundles start at €25.20. In the reference prices, the US, Japan and Mexico packages share that price with a smaller allowance, while Thailand and Turkey carry more data for the same money. Europe and the EEA roaming sits inside the monthly fee, or can be added as a per-day allowance at a separate rate.

Frequently asked questions
How much do Telia FI travel bundles cost?+
Travel bundles start at €25.20. In the reference prices, the US, Japan and Mexico packages share the same price with a smaller data allowance, while the Thailand and Turkey packages carry more data for the same money.
Is there an unlimited data option?+
Unlimited data is not offered. Bundles come with a set allowance, and Europe and the EEA roaming is either inside the monthly fee or sold as a day pass for a fixed amount of data, on a destination scope marked global.
What happens on a long trip across the EU?+
A fair use policy applies to EU roaming. Longer stays in other EU and EEA countries, with more of your traffic outside Finland, can count as unreasonable use, and a surcharge per traffic type can follow a warning. The destination scope is global, so trips often reach well past the EU.
Which network will my phone use abroad?+
Coverage runs on the operator's own network, listed as Telia, and 5G is available. The seller type is listed as carrier, so the home network handles the connection while you are away.
Who do I contact if something goes wrong while travelling?+
Support runs on email, phone and chat, covering email, phone, chat, a help centre and a community. Several of those channels are useful before departure as well as once you are on the road.
Who is this bundle built for?+
The bundle targets short trip and long trip travellers, so both short breaks and longer trips are covered by the same plan style. It suits anyone who prefers a plan run by the carrier that runs the home network, with 5g, instant activation and carrier plan listed among the features.
How does the price per GB compare with other options?+
The reference prices pair one bundle price with different allowances depending on the destination, so the cost per GB moves with the country. Compare €25.20 with the site median €5 and the per-GB median €1.50 when weighing cheaper picks.
