Our verdict
Team Telecom Armenia suits you if you want a carrier plan rather than a marketplace eSIM, with a budget entry at AMD 500 and roaming across from 140 countries. Support reaches you by phone, chat, email, a help centre and a community, all from the operator itself.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Roaming reaches from 140 countries, well above the site median of 74
- Partner networks are Team, Wind (Italy) and Beeline (Russia), so you land on known operators in Italy, Russia, Georgia and Ukraine
- Support runs on email, chat and phone, adding phone and chat to email, a help centre and a community
- The newest network generation and carrier-plan pricing both appear in 5g and carrier plan, and budget pricing keeps entry at AMD 500
Cons
- Unlimited data is not offered, so every session runs against a fixed allowance
- Calls and texts are priced separately from data on the published reference rates
- A carrier seller means a fixed plan list rather than a browsable marketplace
Who it suits
- Your route runs through the Caucasus, Russia, Italy or Ukraine and you want the same plan throughout
- You want phone or chat help before you pay rather than email alone
- You are topping up while travelling rather than buying a large bundle up front
Who should look elsewhere
- You want the widest country map: Zwitchy lists 200 countries, ahead of Team Telecom Armenia
- You want a lower entry price in another currency: eSIMGo.is lists $0.99
- You are travelling only to Israel: SimToIsrael is priced at $25
Coverage and networks
Roaming reaches from 140 countries within a local and global footprint, so a plan covers a wide arc without a second purchase. Partner networks are Team, Wind (Italy) and Beeline (Russia), keeping you on familiar carriers in Italy, Russia, Georgia and Ukraine. The newest network generation is listed in 5g and carrier plan, so speed is covered for callers who need it more than volume.
Who runs it
The provider behind Team Telecom Armenia is Telecom Armenia OJSC, a company based in Armenia. Support runs on email, chat and phone, so a person is reachable by phone or chat as well as by email, and the help centre keeps the plan detail in writing. Because the same operator runs the mobile network and sells the roaming plans, questions go to the carrier itself.

Frequently asked questions
What does a Team Telecom Armenia plan cost?+
Entry pricing starts at AMD 500, and the bundles climb by data volume rather than by country. The AMD 12,000, AMD 12,000 and AMD 12,000 packs sit at the same published rate, so a long trip to the US, Europe or Japan costs the same as a shorter trip on the same allowance.
Is the data unlimited?+
Unlimited data is not part of these plans, so a session ends when the allowance runs out. Published reference rates price data per megabyte in the US, Europe, the UK, Japan and Thailand, with separate bundles for Russia and Georgia. Top-ups are available if you run short before the trip ends.
Where does the coverage reach?+
Roaming covers from 140 countries in a local and global footprint. Partner networks are Team, Wind (Italy) and Beeline (Russia), so signal comes from those named operators in Italy, Russia, Georgia and Ukraine. A multi-country route across the Caucasus and its neighbours stays on partner networks you already recognise, which eases border crossings.
Who runs the service?+
The provider is Telecom Armenia OJSC, based in Armenia. It sells as a carrier, so the roaming plans sit on the operator's own infrastructure and its own support team rather than a third-party catalogue. Plans follow a budget approach, which keeps the option list short and the pricing simple.
How do I get help if something goes wrong?+
Support runs on email, chat and phone, so you can phone, chat, send email, browse the help centre or post in the community. Because carrier sells the plans, the same company that issues the SIM handles the queries, which shortens the route for billing and coverage questions.
Can I add data during my trip?+
Top-ups are available, so you can top up a balance as you travel instead of buying a large bundle before departure. Reference rates list data per megabyte across the US, Europe, the UK, Japan and Thailand, plus a gigabyte bundle in Russia and Georgia, which makes small top-ups the cheaper route for a short stay.
Should I buy this or a marketplace eSIM?+
Team Telecom Armenia sells as a carrier on a budget basis, so the plan list is short and priced by AMD 500 upward. A marketplace groups many providers side by side, which suits someone who wants to compare a wide range of options before paying.
