How Sber Mobile compares

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Sber Mobile travel eSIM cost?+

Travel eSIM pricing starts at RUB 299. The brand runs a budget model (budget) and sells the travel option as a carrier plan, so the entry price is the headline figure rather than a per-gigabyte rate.

Does the Sber Mobile travel eSIM include unlimited data?+

Unlimited data is available and sits alongside hotspot sharing in the same feature set, unlimited data, hotspot and carrier plan. The unlimited option is a carrier plan rather than a separate gigabyte allowance, so light and heavy users land on the same package.

How many countries can I use a Sber Mobile eSIM in?+

Roaming runs in from 200 countries, with the plans sold on a global basis. Coverage follows the MegaFon and T2 partner networks abroad rather than a single home market, and the brand itself sits in Russia.

Who is behind Sber Mobile?+

Sber Mobile is a mobile virtual network operator (mvno) run by Sberbank-Telecom LLC and headquartered in Russia. It has been trading since 2016 and sells travel eSIMs alongside its domestic plans.

Can I top up a Sber Mobile eSIM?+

Top-ups are supported, so a traveller can add data mid-trip rather than buy a new eSIM. It is also a mainstream feature, with 96.7% of the brands listed on NomadCue offering top-ups.

How do I get help from Sber Mobile?+

Support runs through chat, phone and help centre, so you get a chat line, a phone number and a help centre. A help centre is the most common channel in this category, at 87.3% of the brands listed.

Can I share a Sber Mobile connection with a laptop?+

Hotspot sharing is supported, and it is common among the brands listed, at 85.9%. It pairs with the unlimited data option, so a laptop or tablet can share the connection while you are abroad.

Is the Sber Mobile travel eSIM sold outside Russia?+

The travel eSIM is sold on a global basis, while the operator itself is based in Russia. Buying from outside Russia means dealing with a Russian mobile virtual network operator rather than a local seller.
