Our verdict
Roamify is built for budget travellers who want broad coverage and unlimited data, scoring 8.9 overall. Plans start at $2.23, and a single global plan covers 200 countries, so it suits quick getaways and multi-country trips more than long stays abroad on one plan.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Coverage of 200 countries ranks 11 of 303 for countries covered.
- Unlimited data is offered, with heavy monthly use met by a fair use policy rather than a hard limit.
- Hotspot sharing and 5G are both included, and top-ups are available.
- Support runs on email, chat and help centre, covering email, chat, a help centre and a community.
Cons
- Support runs on email, chat and help centre, which lists no phone line.
- The operator fair use policy can cut speed sharply for anyone it estimates using a lot of data in a month.
- Its entry price of $2.23 sits above the $0.99 starting point at eSIMGo.is.
Who it suits
- Travellers on short trips who want a fixed plan price and wide country coverage
- Anyone who needs hotspot sharing on a local network
- Budget buyers who will top up rather than commit to a long plan
Who should look elsewhere
- Travellers after the lowest entry price, since eSIMGo.is starts at $0.99
- Travellers adding data to an existing home network, where MTN travel passes start at NGN 5,000
Where it works
Roamify is a global service covering 200 countries, so one plan can follow a trip across several borders. In the United States it rides on AT&T and Verizon, and 5G is offered on supported plans including Italy and Japan. Because the same plan works across borders rather than being tied to one carrier, there is no need for a fresh eSIM at every stop.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Roamify cost?+
Entry plans start at $2.23, and the cheapest data works out at $0.80 per GB. A ten GB US plan costs $9.50, a ten GB Italy plan $8.10, and a ten GB Japan plan $8 on a short validity window.
How many countries does Roamify cover?+
Roamify covers 200 countries as a global service, which ranks 11 of 303 for countries covered. In the United States it works on AT&T and Verizon, so the same plan reaches several major carriers rather than a single host network.
Is the data really unlimited?+
Unlimited data is offered, but an operator fair use policy applies. If the operator estimates heavy monthly use, speed can be temporarily reduced for a period of up to a day, and Roamify may throttle or suspend excessive use.
Can I use Roamify for hotspot sharing?+
Hotspot sharing is included, along with 5G and instant activation. Hotspot sharing appears in the listed unlimited data, 5g and hotspot, so a laptop or tablet can share the connection while travelling, and 5G is offered on supported plans such as Italy.
Can I top up a plan mid trip?+
Top-ups are available, which suits trips that run longer than the first plan. Roamify is listed for short trip and long trip travellers, so a plan can be topped up rather than replaced when a new leg begins, and instant activation is there for setting up the replacement.
How do I get help from Roamify?+
Support runs on email, chat and help centre, covering email, live chat, a help centre and a community board. There is no phone line listed, so a traveller without a working connection may need patience before an answer arrives.
Is Roamify a carrier or a marketplace?+
Roamify is an MVNO rather than a marketplace, and it is listed under mvno. Plans are packaged by the operator itself, with unlimited data, 5G, hotspot and instant activation carried in the listed unlimited data, 5g and hotspot.
Which countries can I buy Roamify plans for?+
Reference pricing covers the United States, Italy and Japan within 200 covered countries, with ten GB and unlimited plans listed for each. Italy and Japan both show short ten GB windows, and the United States shows a longer ten GB plan alongside a daily unlimited option.
