Pros and cons
Pros
- Covers 82 countries on the CelcomDigi network, including the US, Europe, the UK, Japan, Thailand and Turkey.
- Entry price of MYR 10 fits the budget positioning, and the brand ranks 60 on price from among 313 brands.
- Support runs on chat, phone and help centre, and top-ups let you add data mid-trip without buying another pass.
Cons
- Hotspot sharing is not offered, so you cannot tether a laptop or share data with other devices.
- Unlimited data is not offered; a fair use policy throttles speeds once the high-speed quota is used, and unused data is forfeited when the pass expires.
- Its destinations are named in list form: the world pass covers the US, Europe, the UK, Japan, Thailand and Turkey, while the entry pack reaches Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand only.

Frequently asked questions
What does a redONE travel eSIM cost?+
Prices start at MYR 10, which matches the budget model the brand sells under. Past that entry point, the reference plans are multi-country passes carrying a high data allowance, a smaller regional pack for Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand, and a daily roaming option for lighter use.
Which countries does redONE cover?+
The world pass reaches 82 countries on the CelcomDigi network. Named destinations include the US, Europe, the UK, Japan, Thailand and Turkey, while Mexico is not listed. A cheaper regional pack covers Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand only, which suits a shorter hop rather than a multi-country run.
Is there unlimited data on a redONE pass?+
Unlimited data is not offered. A fair use policy applies instead: once the high-speed quota on a pass is used, data is throttled sharply, and unused data is forfeited when the pass expires. That works for maps, messaging and browsing, not for heavy streaming or large downloads over a long stay.
Can I share a redONE connection as a hotspot?+
Hotspot sharing is not offered, so the data stays on your own phone. Instant activation through 5g and instant activation keeps setup quick on arrival, but tethering a laptop or tablet is out. If sharing matters, weigh providers that list hotspot sharing before you buy.
Does redONE offer 5G, and who runs it?+
5G is included alongside instant activation, with both sitting in 5g and instant activation. The passes ride on the CelcomDigi network, and redONE runs as an mvno based in Malaysia under redONE Network Sdn Bhd (619094-D), founded 2012. Speed abroad follows that host network.
Can I get help if a roaming pass misbehaves?+
Support runs on chat, phone and help centre, so you can chat, call, or work through the help centre. Top-ups are available, which means you can add data mid-trip rather than buy a fresh pass. The fair use policy still applies to topped-up data.
Who is redONE aimed at?+
The brand targets short trip and long trip travellers, and the plan lengths follow: short multi-country passes, a longer monthly pass, and a daily roaming option. It is positioned as a budget product, so the reward is data volume rather than perks or hotspot use.
How does redONE compare on coverage with other brands?+
redONE covers 82 countries, well below the widest maps here such as Zwitchy at 200. It ranks 60 on price from and 142 on countries covered, so reach is the weaker side of the offer.
