Frequently asked questions

How much do Pelephone travel eSIMs cost?+

Fees start at ILS 99, and the listed reference plans price the US with Canada, Europe with the UK, and Japan separately, at ILS 189, ILS 189 and ILS 189. The country list and the length of validity set the final fee.

How many countries do these eSIMs cover?+

The range covers 172 countries, which ranks 68 of 303 brands on countries covered, comfortably above the 74 median across the site. That makes it a broad pick for multi-country trips that cross regions.

Is the data unlimited?+

Unlimited data is listed as a no, so every plan runs on a set allowance rather than open data. The range is aimed at short trip and long trip trips, and long stays with heavy streaming are the cases where the allowance runs out first.

Do these eSIMs give you 5G?+

Yes, 5G is listed as a yes alongside instant activation and carrier plans, all carried on 5g, instant activation and carrier plan. The offer side of this profile scores 7.7, so network capability is the strongest part of the package.

Who do you buy from and how do you get help?+

Pelephone sells the plans itself, listed as a carrier rather than a resale marketplace. Support runs on phone, email and chat, so help comes from the same operator that issues the eSIM and runs the account.

Who is this eSIM range for?+

It is built for short trip and long trip travellers, and coverage of 172 countries with global plans means the same eSIM can follow a multi-country itinerary. It is less suitable for anyone who needs unlimited data.

Who runs Pelephone?+

The seller is Pelephone Communications Ltd, the legal entity behind the abroad packages, headquartered in Israel and founded in 1986. It is listed as a carrier, and support runs on phone, email and chat from the same operation.
