Pros and cons
Pros
- Unlimited data in the Netherlands, with the bundle stopping by itself once it expires, so home use has no cap
- Coverage spans from 140 countries, with bundles sold per country or for wider regions such as Asia and Europe
- 5G, hotspot sharing and instant activation all come as standard, so a travel bundle can be live as soon as it is bought
- Top-ups are available in the app, so a further bundle can be added mid trip when the allowance runs out
Cons
- Abroad, each country or region bundle carries a fixed data amount, so heavy users buy extra bundles in the app
- Price per GB of €1.50 sits above the cheaper end of the market, which keeps the mid-range rank on price from
- Bundles are sold per country or per region, so an allowance bought for a single country does not apply elsewhere
Who it suits

- Travellers buying a regional bundle for Asia or Europe who prefer a fixed allowance per trip
- People who want a carrier plan rather than a marketplace listing, with phone, chat and help centre support
Who should look elsewhere
- Travellers who want a single large allowance across many countries, where Zwitchy covers 200 countries with its own bundles
- Anyone shopping purely on the entry price, where eSIMGo.is starts at $0.99 rather than the €2.50 entry point here
- Travellers focused on a single destination, where SimToIsrael at $25 may be enough for the whole trip abroad

Frequently asked questions
What does Odido Mobiel NL cost?+
Plans start at €2.50 and the price per GB starts at €1.50. That entry price covers unlimited 5G data in the Netherlands, where the bundle stops when it expires, while abroad bundles are sold per country or region, with a larger allowance at €10.
Is the data unlimited abroad too?+
Unlimited data applies in the Netherlands, where the bundle stops automatically when it expires. Abroad each country or region bundle has a fixed data amount, and extra bundles are bought in the app when it runs out.
How many countries does it cover?+
Coverage spans from 140 countries. Bundles are sold per country or for wider regions such as Asia, Europe and South America, and the network runs on Odido in the Netherlands with roaming partners elsewhere.
Does hotspot sharing work?+
Hotspot sharing is supported on the plan, alongside 5G and instant activation. A travel bundle can be active as soon as it is bought, and a laptop or tablet can share the connection.
Who runs Odido Mobiel NL?+
It is a carrier plan from Odido Netherlands B.V., an operator headquartered in the Netherlands and founded in 2023. Support runs on phone, chat and help centre for help before and during a trip if needed.
What kind of trip is the plan built for?+
The plan is built for short trips and longer trips alike. A daily or weekly bundle suits a short trip, while a regional or month long bundle covers a longer stay, with the home unlimited bundle from €2.50 per day.
Can data be added while abroad?+
Top-ups are available, so a further bundle can be added in the app when the current allowance is used up abroad. Each top-up stays tied to the country or region it covers, so allowances do not roll across borders.
