Numero eSIM review

Entry plans start at €3.50, and the lowest rates per gigabyte begin at €1.20. A Japanese allowance is listed at €12. Which figure matters depends on how long you stay and how much you stream on the way.

Unlimited data is offered, and a fair use policy sits right next to it: high-speed data is capped each day, then speeds drop to a slower level before resetting. Treat it as generous for maps, messaging and browsing rather than full speed for long streaming sessions.

Coverage reaches 200 countries across regional and global plans, with local options listed for destinations such as the USA, France and Japan. Destinations are bought as separate plans, so the country total is a range rather than a single pass.

Named networks include T Mobile, KDDI and Orange, so the host carrier depends on the destination you pick. A global plan can sit on a different partner from a local one, which matters if you want to stay on a particular carrier while abroad.

Hotspot sharing is supported, and the feature set in unlimited data, 5g and hotspot pairs it with instant activation and unlimited data. A phone can therefore act as a laptop's connection shortly after you land, without a separate modem.

Support runs on email and help centre, so questions go by email or through the help centre. There is no live chat or phone line in that list, which is worth knowing before a trip where a broken plan needs sorting the same day.

The service is sold by Smarteletec S.L., based in Spain, and has traded since 2017. It operates as a marketplace rather than a single carrier, so the seller and the host network can differ from plan to plan.

The short trip and long trip list covers short-trip and long-trip buyers, and regional and global shows regional alongside global plans. A short regional plan suits a quick break, while a global plan is aimed at trips crossing several borders.
