Pros and cons
Pros
- Connections come from Vodafone, AT&T and SoftBank, so a handset already on a major carrier usually settles on the local network fast.
- Bought data carries no fair use policy, so the full allowance keeps working at normal speed.
- Top-ups are available, which suits trips that outlast the bought data, and plans suit short trips and longer stays alike.
- Support runs on email, chat and help centre, including a help centre for self-serve questions.
Cons
- The price per GB of $2 is above the €1.50 median, so heavy data users pay more than the cheaper sellers.
- The cheapest plan, $5, sits above the €2.87 lower end of the market, so a short trip costs more than it needs to.
- Unlimited plans are not uncapped: a fair use policy gives a daily allowance at standard speed, then slower speeds.
Who it suits
- Travellers crossing several borders who want one global plan rather than a separate eSIM per country.
- People who need hotspot sharing and 5G on the same plan, or who would rather not meter their data at all.
- Budgets that plan around a set data allowance, with top-ups available for whatever the trip uses after that.
Who should look elsewhere
- Not for the smallest budgets: eSIMGo.is starts at $0.99.
- Not for travellers who prefer a carrier's own pass priced in local currency, such as MTN at NGN 5,000.
- Not for anyone who needs unlimited data with no fair use limit, because a fair use policy slows speeds after a daily allowance.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Jetpac eSIM cost?+
Plans start at $5 and the price per GB begins at $2. Europe's larger data tier is $22, the US tier is $19 and Japan is $16. Unlimited plans sit above those prices but spare you from topping up mid-trip.
Is Jetpac's unlimited data really unlimited?+
Unlimited data is offered, but a fair use policy applies. Bought data has no fair use limit at all, while unlimited plans give a set daily allowance at standard speed and then drop to a much lower speed. Heavy streaming after that allowance is spent is where the difference shows.
Which countries does Jetpac cover?+
Jetpac covers 200 countries and sells on a global basis, so a multi-country trip runs on one plan. Plans are built for short trips and longer stays alike, and the connections sit with Vodafone, AT&T and SoftBank.
Can I use Jetpac data for a hotspot and 5G?+
Hotspot sharing is supported, and 5G is available too, so a laptop or tablet can share the connection on a plan with enough data. That works well on long train or ferry days, where a single device would otherwise carry every map lookup and stream.
Can I top up a Jetpac plan while I am travelling?+
Top-ups are available, which matters on longer trips where the included data runs out before the trip ends. The plans target short trips and longer stays alike, so topping up part-way through a route is a normal step rather than an exception.
How do I get help from Jetpac?+
Support runs on email, chat and help centre, so a help centre answer may be the quickest route and chat covers live questions during a trip. Jetpac is headquartered in Singapore, which is worth knowing for time zones when a support request needs detail about an order.
How does Jetpac compare with cheaper eSIM options?+
Jetpac is not the cheapest entry point: eSIMGo.is starts at $0.99, and a carrier pass from MTN starts at NGN 5,000 in local currency. Jetpac trades that for 200 countries, unlimited data and hotspot sharing, so the choice depends on how many borders a trip crosses.
How does Jetpac score for value?+
Jetpac scores 6.7 overall on this site. Coverage, unlimited data and hotspot sharing lift the offer, while the price per GB of $2 keeps the score below the level a pure bargain brand would reach. Readers who cross several borders usually find that trade worth it.
