Pros and cons
Pros
- Prices start low at €10, and the per GB rate is €1.50
- Unlimited data is available on the eSIM, and unlimited data, 5g and instant activation covers instant activation and 5G
- Top-ups are available, so you can add data without buying a new plan
- Support runs through email, chat and phone
Cons
- Coverage is limited to 39 countries, far short of wide global eSIM ranges
- The reference price list covers Europe, the UK, the USA and Turkey, and the only wider option is a small weekly world pack
- Western Balkans mobile internet is capped by a Fair Use Policy on the Super and Max tips
Who it suits
- Travelers leaving IPKO's home market who mainly need Europe, the UK, the USA or Turkey
- People who want unlimited data on the eSIM rather than buying fixed gigabytes
- Longer trips that need top-ups mid-journey
Who should look elsewhere
- Trippers covering many countries who should compare Zwitchy, with coverage of 200 countries
- Japan, Thailand or Mexico travellers
- Anyone starting from the lowest possible outlay, since eSIMGo.is lists prices from $0.99
Where it works
IPKO roams across 39 countries and runs on AT&T and T Mobile in the places they serve. The listed reference prices cover Europe, the UK, the USA and Turkey, all at one price per plan. Japan, Thailand and Mexico are not in the roaming partner list, so trips there need another provider. The plan set is regional rather than global, which keeps costs predictable inside the region and thin outside it. 5G is available on the network.

Frequently asked questions
How much does IPKO roaming cost?+
Plans start at €10, and the price per GB is €1.50. Europe, the UK, the USA and Turkey share one price list, with a promo rate on many of them. Top-ups are available if you run out mid-trip.
Is the data unlimited?+
Unlimited data is offered on the eSIM, alongside instant activation and 5G. One caveat sits next to it: mobile internet in the Western Balkans is capped by a Fair Use Policy, with a smaller cap on the Super tip and a larger one on the Max tip.
Which countries does IPKO cover?+
Coverage spans 39 countries, with AT&T and T Mobile used in the places served. The listed plans cover Europe, the UK, the USA and Turkey. Japan, Thailand and Mexico sit outside the roaming partner list.
Who is IPKO and where is it based?+
IPKO is a carrier rather than a marketplace, run as IPKO Telecommunications LLC and based in Kosovo. It has operated since 1999, selling its own network and roaming rather than reselling other providers' eSIMs.
How do I get help from IPKO?+
Support runs on email, chat and phone, so you can reach the team by email, live chat, phone or the help centre. The same channels cover questions about setting up the eSIM and about roaming charges while you are abroad.
Is the eSIM active straight away?+
Instant activation is one of the listed features, alongside unlimited data, 5G and carrier-plan support. Because IPKO is a carrier, the eSIM draws on its own network, so it suits travelers leaving its home market rather than buyers shopping across many networks.
