GoMoWorld review

Plans start at €3.99. Reference prices sit at €10.99 for Europe, €10.99 for Japan and €10.99 for the United States, and the published plan prices are the same in the US, Europe, Japan and Turkey, so the quote does not move by destination.

GoMoWorld lists coverage of from 200 countries, above the site median of 74 and the esim ranking median of 76. With a global footprint, a single plan can cover a multi-country trip rather than a separate plan for each border.

Unlimited data is not part of the GoMoWorld range. 57.2% of the plans compared across the site do offer it, so anyone streaming heavily would weigh a top-up instead, and top-ups are available on GoMoWorld plans.

Hotspot sharing is included, so a phone plan can tether a laptop or tablet. GoMoWorld also lists 5g, hotspot and instant activation on its plans, so a connection can be set up on arrival rather than waiting for a physical SIM to arrive by post.

GoMoWorld sells as a carrier rather than a marketplace of resellers, and the legal entity behind the site is eircom Limited, based in Ireland. Carrier sellers are a minority grouping in the ranking at 64.3%, against 12.3% for marketplaces.

Help runs on email, chat and help centre, which covers email, chat, a help centre and a community, and no phone line is listed among them. Checking that the eSIM is activated and in coverage before departure saves a support request later on.

Top-ups are available, so an allowance that runs out does not have to end the trip. Since unlimited data is not sold, topping up is the practical way to keep a connection alive on a longer journey rather than buying another plan from scratch.

On starting price, GoMoWorld ranks 110 of 313 brands compared, with €3.99 as the entry point against a site median of €5. eSIMGo.is starts at $0.99 and SimToIsrael at $25.
