Pros and cons
Pros
- Host networks include dtac, China Unicom and docomo, so a plan is not tied to one carrier.
- Unlimited data, hotspot sharing, 5G and instant activation all sit in unlimited data, 5g and hotspot for the Japan range.
- Reference prices are given for the US, Europe, Japan and Thailand, so regional costs compare quickly.
Cons
- Support runs on email, chat and help centre only.
- Unlimited data carries a fair-use cap: Unlimited plans throttled to 10 Mbps (or 100 Mbps tier).
Who it suits
- Travellers on short trips and long trips who want one marketplace for 100 to 200 countries.
- People who need hotspot sharing to get a laptop or tablet online while moving.
Who should look elsewhere
- Anyone needing top-ups mid trip, a no here, or the lowest entry price: eSIMGo.is starts at $0.99.
- Shoppers who want a fixed country count: Zwitchy lists 200, while Gohub's 100 to 200 is a range.
Who runs it
Gohub is run by Gohub Inc., founded in 2018, with that entity named in the terms as the party behind the service. Support runs on email, chat and help centre: a help centre carries routine setup questions, while chat and email handle anything needing a person to reply. Phone is not among email, chat and help centre.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Gohub eSIM cost?+
Plans start at $1.79, with a Europe plan at $12 and a Japan plan at $8.80. Reference prices are also given for the US, Europe, Japan and Thailand, so regional costs compare directly. On price from, Gohub ranks 34 of 313 tracked.
Is the data really unlimited?+
Unlimited data is offered and sits in unlimited data, 5g and hotspot for the Japan range, but fair-use limits apply: Unlimited plans throttled to 10 Mbps (or 100 Mbps tier). Read it as a plan for browsing, maps and messaging rather than heavy video, and check the cap on the tier you pick.
How many countries does Gohub cover, and which networks?+
Coverage runs across 100 to 200 countries, so the count depends on the plan. Networks listed include dtac, China Unicom and docomo, spreading service across several host carriers rather than a single partner, which matters where one network reaches further than another.
Can I use hotspot sharing?+
Hotspot sharing is supported and appears in unlimited data, 5g and hotspot alongside unlimited data, 5G and instant activation on the Japan range. One plan can then carry a phone, tablet and laptop on the move, and the fair-use cap on unlimited plans still applies to whatever you tether.
Is 5G included and how quick is activation?+
5G is offered, and unlimited data, 5g and hotspot lists it with instant activation for the Japan range, so a profile is set up as you install it. Real-world 5G follows the host carrier you land on in each country rather than running across the whole catalogue.
How do I get help from Gohub?+
Support runs on email, chat and help centre. A help centre carries routine questions about installation and plan sizing, while chat and email handle anything that needs a reply from a person, so a written ticket is the route for anything urgent.
Is Gohub a mobile network or a marketplace?+
Gohub is a marketplace: plans from several sellers sit on one site rather than one carrier network, and marketplace is listed the same way. The entity behind the terms is Gohub Inc., founded in 2018, so quality and network behaviour can differ between the catalogues you compare.
Can I top up a plan if I run out of data?+
Top-ups are a no, so the data you buy has to cover the whole trip. On a marketplace that means sizing the allowance before checkout. Coverage still spans 100 to 200 countries, so a larger allowance chosen up front is the only way to carry a heavier trip.
