Frequently asked questions

How much does a Globe Telecom travel eSIM cost?+

Entry price is PHP 1,750, and the reference US bundle is PHP 1,500. Roaming data runs 3 GB/3 days at PHP 399 per day. A visitor eSIM for travelers arriving in the Philippines is also listed in the reference prices.

Which countries does Globe Telecom roaming cover?+

Roaming reaches from 100 countries, and plans are sold for both local and global trips. Partner networks include AT&T, T-Mobile, O2 UK, NTT Docomo, Softbank, AIS, SingTel Mobile Singapore, Turk Telecom and Turkcell, alongside Globe's own network.

Is there an unlimited data plan?+

No. Unlimited data is not offered here, and fair use works like this: No daily caps; each travel data plan has a total data limit. The whole allowance is spent across the plan's validity, so streaming and long navigation sessions use a bundle quickly.

Can I share the connection with other devices?+

Hotspot sharing is supported on the prepaid traveler eSIM, and the plan covers 4 connected devices. 5G is also available, so phones, tablets and laptops can share the same line on one plan.

How do I get the eSIM before I fly?+

The eSIM is sold through the GlobeOne app, with instant activation and top-ups both listed as plan features. Physical SIMs can be collected at airport counters in NAIA, Clark and Mactan-Cebu, or from retail partners nationwide. Setup runs through the operator, listed as a carrier.

What if I run out of data while abroad?+

Top-ups are available, so a plan can be topped up abroad without waiting for the current bundle to run out. Support runs on phone, help centre and chat, which covers phone, chat and a help centre for roaming questions.

Is Globe Telecom a marketplace or a carrier?+

It is a carrier rather than a marketplace, and the legal entity is Globe Telecom, Inc., based in the PH and trading since 1935. Plans come straight from the operator rather than a third-party seller.

Who does a Globe Telecom travel plan suit?+

It suits travelers leaving the Philippines on short or long trips who want a carrier network behind the eSIM and a home support team to call. Anyone who needs unlimited data should look elsewhere, since every bundle here is capped.
