Our verdict
Global Yo suits short and long trips that want budget eSIM data with instant activation and top-ups. It covers 200 countries through regional and global plans, and unlimited data is available, though those plans slow after a daily high-speed limit that resets each day.

Frequently asked questions
What does a Global Yo plan cost?+
Entry pricing starts at $0.59, and reference plans sit at $14.99 for the US, $13.99 for Germany and $15.99 for Japan. Per-country plans for Turkey, the UK, Japan and Thailand sit alongside Europe and global explorer bundles, so a short trip and a long trip can use the same provider.
How many countries does Global Yo cover?+
Global Yo covers 200 countries, with regional and global plans such as Europe and global explorer bundles alongside per-country options. The listed networks are AT&T, Vodafone (Germany) and O2 (Germany) GmbH & Co. OHG, so the host network you get depends on where you land.
Is unlimited data really unlimited?+
Unlimited plans do not stop, but they slow down. Each day you get a high-speed allowance, then data carries on at a lower speed, and the allowance resets daily. Unlimited data sits among its features in unlimited data, hotspot and instant activation, so plan for slower speeds later in the day.
Can I share data with a laptop or other devices?+
Hotspot sharing is supported, and unlimited data, hotspot use and instant activation are all part of the feature list in unlimited data, hotspot and instant activation. That makes these plans workable for people who work from a laptop on the move rather than only on a phone.
Which networks does Global Yo use?+
The listed networks are AT&T, Vodafone (Germany) and O2 (Germany) GmbH & Co. OHG. The mix includes a US carrier plus German operators, so coverage quality differs by country. Check the plan for your destination before you buy, since the network set is not the same in every market.
Does the data start as soon as I land?+
Instant activation is listed in unlimited data, hotspot and instant activation, so there is no waiting on a physical SIM. The plans also suit short trip and long trip, which means the same setup works for a short trip and for a longer stay without a local contract.
Can I top up if I run out of data mid-trip?+
Top-ups are available, so a plan can be topped up during a trip rather than bought from scratch. That pairs well with hotspot support, since sharing data between devices uses up a daily high-speed allowance sooner. Instant activation sits in unlimited data, hotspot and instant activation, so a new plan can be live quickly.
How do I get help from Global Yo?+
Support runs on email and help centre, so email and a help centre are the routes. The provider is registered in the United States as YOVERSE INC. and sells as an mvno rather than a marketplace, which shapes who handles a plan.
