Our verdict
Ezy eSIM is a budget marketplace selling local, regional and global plans from $2, which suits short trips and long trips where budget matters more than the widest network list. The catch is that from 130 countries sit behind a marketplace model, and marketplace sellers set the local detail.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Entry plans start at $2, with listed bundles at $13 for Japan, $17 for the United States and $21 for Europe.
- Coverage spans from 130 countries, and you choose between local, regional and global plans instead of one fixed scope.
- The Japan plan runs on NTT Docomo, SoftBank and KDDI, so you land on a major network in Japan.
- Hotspot sharing, 5G and instant activation are all listed, and fair use promises Full speed, no speed reduction.
Cons
- Unlimited data is not offered, so heavy streaming on a fixed bundle can stop mid-trip.
- Support runs on email, chat and help centre, so there is no phone line for urgent setup problems.
- The Europe bundle at $21 shows how quickly the price climbs as the data allowance grows.
Who it suits
- Travellers on a tight budget who want the plan sorted at home rather than at the airport.
- Both short trips and long trips, with top-ups available to add data when a bundle runs down.
- People who mainly need a set allowance for a single market and care more about entry price than about unlimited data.
Who should look elsewhere
- Anyone chasing the longest country list should look at Zwitchy, which covers 200 countries.
- Buyers who want the lowest entry price can find a smaller one at eSIMGo.is, at $0.99.
- Travellers who prefer a bigger committed spend should look at SimToIsrael, where plans start at $25.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an Ezy eSIM cost?+
Plans start at $2. The listed data bundles are $13 for Japan, $17 for the United States and $21 for Europe, so a larger allowance costs more. Entry pricing also sits below the site median of €5.
How many countries does Ezy eSIM cover?+
Coverage runs to from 130 countries, and plans come as local, regional and global choices, so you can take a single country, a region or a wider global plan. The Japan plan is one example, running on NTT Docomo, SoftBank and KDDI.
Can I top up data while I am travelling?+
Yes, top-ups are available, which matters if a fixed bundle runs out before you fly home. Support for that runs on email, chat and help centre, so questions go by email, chat or the help centre. Activation itself is listed as instant, so there is no waiting period.
Does Ezy eSIM sell unlimited data?+
No. Unlimited data is not offered, so you buy a set allowance and top up if you need more. What you do get is a fair use note promising Full speed, no speed reduction, so a used bundle should not be quietly slowed. 5G, hotspot sharing and instant activation are all listed features.
Which network will I get on the Japan plan?+
The Japan plan runs on NTT Docomo, SoftBank and KDDI, so you can land on a major network in Japan rather than a single small host. 5G is listed as available there, and hotspot sharing is supported, so a laptop can share the connection.
Does Ezy eSIM support hotspot sharing?+
Yes, hotspot sharing is available, and 5G is listed alongside it. Fair use promises Full speed, no speed reduction, so the shared connection is not held behind a separate cap. Setup help runs on email, chat and help centre if anything needs checking before departure.
Who is Ezy eSIM for?+
It suits budget travellers on short trips and long trips who would rather sort the connection before they fly. The model is budget and the seller type is marketplace, so a low price comes with a self-serve purchase flow. Support runs on email, chat and help centre.
Is Ezy eSIM good value against other sellers?+
