Esimoa review

Coverage stands at 200 countries, which is wider than eSIMGo.is at 190. Plans come in both regional and global shapes: regional and global. The map is broad, but a global plan is not the only shape on offer, and a regional buy is the sensible pick when a full world map is not needed.

Unlimited data and instant activation are both listed under unlimited data and instant activation. Each unlimited plan shows its daily high-speed allowance before purchase, and once that allowance is used, speeds drop until the next daily period. Unused allowance does not roll over, and abnormal or abusive use can bring limits or suspension. Read it as heavy use with a daily ceiling.

Instant activation is listed under unlimited data and instant activation, and the service is delivered as an eSIM rather than a physical card. Top-ups are available, so a line that is used harder than expected can be topped up rather than replaced. Global plans span 200 countries if a wider map is needed.

Top-ups are available, which suits trips where data use is hard to predict. The same fair use policy applies: a daily high-speed allowance on unlimited plans, then reduced speed until the next daily period, with no rollover of unused allowance. For longer journeys, short trip and long trip lists long trips alongside short trips.

Support runs on email and help centre. That means a self-serve help centre for the common questions and email for anything needing a reply. A phone line or live chat is not among its support channels (email and help centre), so a problem that needs voice contact is worth raising with another provider before buying.

Esimoa runs under ALMA Technologies Ltd, registered in Cyprus. The same company answers the support requests that come through email and help centre, so the help centre and the email channel sit with the operator of the service rather than a separate reseller.

Both are covered: short trip and long trip lists short trips and long trips, so the same catalogue serves a quick city break and a multi-week route. Coverage of 200 countries means a regional plan can be picked first, with top-ups available if a longer journey needs more data.

Esimoa covers 200 countries, eSIMGo.is covers 190, and MTN covers 50 to 63. That puts Esimoa at the wide end of the three, with MTN sitting in the regional range. SimToIsrael is different again, covering 1 country.
