Pros and cons
Pros
- Coverage of 200 countries, with regional and global plans for regional and global trips.
- Instant activation is listed, which suits short trips and last-minute purchases.
- Top-ups are available, so a plan can be topped up without buying a new one.
- Support covers email, chat and phone, so a help centre, chat, email and phone line are all listed.
Cons
- The cheapest data rate is €2.99 per GB, so heavy data use costs more than the low entry price suggests.
- Selling as a marketplace, the host network on a plan can differ from the plan next to it, so the network has to be checked per plan.
Who it suits
- Travelers on short trips who want activation straight after purchase, since instant activation is listed.
- Anyone crossing several borders, since 200 countries covered with regional and global plans sit in one catalogue.
- Readers who want unlimited data, hotspot sharing and 5G on the same plan, since all three are listed.
Who should look elsewhere
- Buyers chasing the lowest entry price, since eSIMGo.is starts at $0.99.
- Travelers who want a carrier's own travel pass rather than a marketplace catalogue, for example MTN at NGN 5,000.
- Anyone focused on a single destination, since SimToIsrael starts at $25.
Where it works
eSIMFOX DE covers 200 countries, and the catalogue is built for regional and global plans, so a single-country trip and a multi-country route can both be handled from one account. Host networks are named under AT&T, T Mobile and Verizon, and 5G is listed as supported across the plans.
Price per GB and validity
The lowest plan price is €1.99, and the cheapest data rate is €2.99 per GB. Reference prices show the same low rate for short plans in the US, Europe, the UK, Thailand and Turkey, a higher rate for Japan, and higher starting prices for Mexico and global plans. Bundles with more data sit above those.

Frequently asked questions
What do eSIMFOX DE plans cost?+
Plans start at €1.99, which sits below the site median of €5. The cheapest data rate is €2.99 per GB, above the site median of €1.50. Bigger bundles sit higher, so the size you pick drives the per-GB figure more than the entry price does.
How many countries does eSIMFOX DE cover?+
Coverage runs to 200 countries, well above the site median of 74. Plans come as regional or global options under regional and global, and the host network list under AT&T, T Mobile and Verizon shows who serves your route.
Is the data unlimited and can I use a hotspot?+
Hotspot sharing is supported and unlimited data is offered, with 5G included in unlimited data, 5g and hotspot. Unlimited plans can carry a fair-use cap, so read the terms for the plan you pick before a long trip. Top-ups are available if a capped plan runs out mid-trip.
How quickly can a plan be working?+
Instant activation is listed, so a plan bought before departure is ready to switch in rather than waiting for delivery. The catalogue is built for both short trips and longer stays under short trip and long trip, and top-ups are available if the allowance runs low.
Who runs eSIMFOX DE?+
The seller is eSIM FOX GmbH, based in Germany and founded in 2023. It sells as a marketplace under a budget and marketplace model in budget and marketplace, which is why plans come from several host networks rather than one carrier.
How do I get help if a plan fails?+
Support runs through email, chat and phone, so a help centre, live chat, email and a phone line are all listed. A phone call is the quickest route if a plan does not activate on arrival, and the help centre holds setup steps for each plan.
How does it compare with eSIMGo.is on price?+
eSIMGo.is starts lower, at $0.99, so a very small data purchase can cost less. eSIMFOX DE covers 200 countries with regional and global plans under regional and global, which is the trade: more catalogue breadth against a slightly higher entry point.
