Our verdict
eSIM.net suits periodic travelers who want unlimited data, hotspot sharing and high speed mobile data on a regional plan rather than a single market. Plans from $6 with $1 per GB at the cheapest rate, and a fair use policy keeps the unlimited options aimed at trips rather than long stays.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Unlimited data is offered, subject to the fair use policy for periodic travel, alongside hotspot sharing, high speed mobile data and instant activation.
- Regional plans reach 90 countries, and top-ups are available, so data can be added mid-trip.
- Plans run on established partner networks, O2, Vodafone and EE, and the service is an MVNO run by ESIM.NET GROUP LIMITED in the United Kingdom.
Cons
- Coverage of 90 countries is narrower than Zwitchy, which covers 200.
- Support runs on email, chat and help centre only, so there is no phone support.
- The fair use policy treats the eSIM as for periodic travel, so sustained use in permitted countries can lead to traffic shaping, throttling, further charges or disconnection.
Who it suits
- Travelers on short trips who stream, navigate and want a working connection on landing.
- People covering 90 countries within one region and topping up rather than buying a second plan.
- Anyone who works from a hotspot, since hotspot sharing is supported and unlimited data is offered under the fair use policy.
Who should look elsewhere
- Trip planners who need one plan for a very wide map: Zwitchy covers 200 countries.
- Shoppers who only want a small top-up: eSIMGo.is starts at $0.99.
- Travelers spending a bigger entry budget: SimToIsrael starts at $25.

Frequently asked questions
How much do eSIM.net plans cost?+
Entry plans start at $6, and the cheapest data works out at $1 per GB. Reference prices are set per region, so $12 in Europe, $15 in the US and $15 in Japan sit at different levels, with a global range of larger allowances on top.
How many countries does eSIM.net cover?+
Regional plans cover 90 countries, which suits a trip inside one region such as Europe, the US or Japan. A global option with much larger allowances is also listed, so multi-region trips are possible, though the fair use policy still applies.
What are the limits on unlimited data?+
Unlimited data is offered, and the fair use policy limits it to periodic travel. Using the eSIM in permitted countries across a stretch of a few months counts as unfair use, and traffic shaping, throttling, further charges or disconnection can follow.
Can I share my eSIM.net connection as a hotspot?+
Hotspot sharing is supported, so a phone, tablet or laptop can share the eSIM connection. unlimited data, 5g and hotspot also covers unlimited data, high speed mobile data and instant activation, which keeps a landing day simple.
How do I get help while I am travelling?+
Support runs on email, chat and help centre, so questions go by email, live chat or the help centre rather than by phone. Plans are set up for instant activation, so most trips run through without a support call.
Can I add data while I am still abroad?+
Top-ups are available, so extra data can be added mid-trip rather than buying a new eSIM. regional plans stay simple for a single-region trip, and unlimited data, 5g and hotspot includes instant activation for a quick purchase.
Who is behind eSIM.net?+
eSIM.net is an MVNO, mvno, registered in the United Kingdom as ESIM.NET GROUP LIMITED and founded in 2019. It relies on established carriers rather than its own radio network, with O2, Vodafone and EE listed as the partners.
Which networks will my eSIM use?+
The network depends on the destination, and O2, Vodafone and EE are the listed partners. A regional Europe plan is not tied to one carrier, while the US and Japan plans name their own local networks.
