Pros and cons
Pros
- Roaming reaches 51 to 88 countries across the regional and global zones
- Included data in the main zone comes from the Power plan at PEN 49.90
- Top-ups are available, and support runs on phone, email and help centre
Cons
- Hotspot sharing is not offered, and the fair use policy also rules out proxies and tethering to other devices
- Email traffic above a set amount per cycle is slowed down, which hurts heavy mailbox use
Who it suits
- Peru based travellers already on an Entel line who want one bill
- Short trips crossing the US, Europe, the UK, Japan, Thailand, Turkey and Mexico in the main zone
- People who prefer roaming on their own network to buying a travel eSIM
Who should look elsewhere
- Anyone who needs hotspot sharing, which the fair use policy does not allow; Zwitchy covers more ground
- Travellers chasing unlimited data, which this carrier does not offer
- Short trips where a bought eSIM is simpler, and eSIMGo.is starts from $0.99
Price per GB and validity
Roaming is sold inside a carrier plan rather than a standalone travel eSIM. The US, Europe, the UK, Japan, Thailand, Turkey and Mexico sit in the Zona America, Europa y Asia group, where included data comes from the Power plan at PEN 49.90 and pay as you go runs per MB. Reference prices read PEN 102.90 for the US, PEN 102.90 for Europe and PEN 102.90 for Japan, while Zona Mundo destinations are charged a higher per MB rate.
The company behind it
Entel Peru sells this as a carrier rather than a marketplace, so the roaming runs on the operator's own network. The legal entity behind it is Entel Peru S.A., based in Peru. Help runs on phone, email and help centre, and the terms and conditions are published by that same company, which is also where roaming questions are settled.

Frequently asked questions
What does roaming cost with Entel Peru?+
Included roaming data in the US, Europe, the UK, Japan, Thailand, Turkey and Mexico sits in the Zona America, Europa y Asia group, where it comes from the Power plan at PEN 49.90. Pay as you go roaming is billed per MB in that group, and other destinations fall under Zona Mundo at a higher per MB rate.
How many countries does the roaming cover?+
The zone runs across 51 to 88 countries and is split into two price groups. Destinations in the Zona America, Europa y Asia group, which covers the US, Europe, the UK, Japan, Thailand, Turkey and Mexico, carry the lower per MB rate, while Zona Mundo destinations are charged more.
What are the fair use limits on the data?+
Data is limited for each plan and billing cycle, and whatever is left at the end of a cycle does not carry into the next one. Roaming in the main zone comes from the Power plan at PEN 49.90, with pay as you go per MB rates beyond that, and email traffic above a set amount per cycle is slowed down as well.
Can I share the roaming connection with a laptop?+
No. Hotspot sharing is not offered, and the fair use policy also keeps roaming data away from proxies and tethering to other devices. Sharing the connection is therefore out, so downloads are worth doing before a trip. Any question about the restriction can go to the carrier on phone, email and help centre.
Can I add more data while I am abroad?+
Top-ups are available, so a balance can be added part way through a trip instead of planning every megabyte in advance. The included allowance in the main zone comes from the Power plan at PEN 49.90, and the carrier can be reached on phone, email and help centre if a top-up needs setting up.
How do I get help from the carrier?+
Support runs on phone, email and help centre, so a traveller can pick between phone, email and the help centre. Because the offer is sold by the operator as a carrier plan, roaming charges, the fair use policy and billing cycles are all handled by that same support team rather than a travel eSIM provider.
Who is the roaming aimed at?+
The audience is short trip and long trip, and the region is regional and global. In practice that means Peru based travellers with an existing line who want one bill, and short trips that move between the US, Europe, the UK, Japan, Thailand, Turkey and Mexico inside the Zona America, Europa y Asia group.
