Claro El Salvador review

Reference day rates are $5 for Europe and the UK, with a per GB rate of $5, and the destination sets the bill. It is sold as a carrier plan (carrier) rather than a prepaid travel eSIM, so the charge lands on the local line.

Roaming data holds at Up to 1 GB of plan data per day while roaming, so a light trip is covered and a heavy one is not. Unlimited data: no, which rules out long streaming sessions. The per GB rate is $5 if usage runs past the daily plan data.

Roaming reaches 30 countries, and the offer is regional rather than worldwide. Reference pricing names Europe, the UK, Japan and Turkey among the priced zones. Anyone crossing several continents would be looking at a global eSIM instead, such as Zwitchy with 200 countries.

It is a carrier plan (carrier plan) sold by a carrier (carrier), so it runs on a Claro line rather than a travel eSIM bought for a trip. Existing subscribers can add roaming to the line they already have, while anyone arriving with no local plan would pick a prepaid eSIM.

Support runs through chat, phone and help centre, so chat, phone and a help centre are all available. That mix suits travellers who would rather call than install another app. Questions about roaming charges on the line can go to the same channels.

Fees of $5 sit above $0.99 from eSIMGo.is, and the per GB rate of $5 is the number that matters on a long day of maps. SimToIsrael lists fees of $25, well above this plan's day rate.

The carrier is based in El Salvador, and the roaming offer is regional rather than global. Reference day rates name Europe, the UK, Japan and Turkey, so the plan is aimed at travel out of the home market. Anyone leaving on a long multi-continent trip would want a global eSIM instead.
