Our verdict
Bitė Lietuva is a Lithuanian home operator selling roaming plans for short trips and long trips, with coverage across 114 countries on partner networks. It suits travelers who want a carrier plan with instant activation and phone help, and who are happy with a regional and global range rather than the widest country list.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Help by phone, chat and help centre, backed by a Lithuanian operator that runs its own home network.
- Instant activation on plans sold as a carrier plan rather than a standalone travel eSIM.
- Founded 1,995 to 1,996, so the roaming plans come from an established home network.
- Top-ups are available, and the range covers both regional and global destinations.
Cons
- Unlimited data is not offered, so every plan comes with a stated data allowance.
- Hotspot sharing is not available, and the fair use policy rules out putting the SIM in a router, modem, tablet or PC.
- Coverage of 114 countries is narrower than Zwitchy at 200.
Who it suits
- Lithuanian and European travelers whose home plan already carries roaming, since Europe is included in the home plan with extra megabytes billed above the allowance.
- Travelers on short trips and long trips who want a home operator's plan and phone help rather than the widest country list.
- Flyers who want data in the air, since AeroMobile service is listed on aircraft.
Who should look elsewhere
- Travelers who need unlimited data or hotspot sharing should skip Bitė Lietuva, since neither is offered, and check Zwitchy for a wider map.
- Price-first buyers should compare eSIMGo.is, where plans start at $0.99.
- Anyone whose trip stays in a single country should check SimToIsrael, a focused offer from $25.
Where it works
Coverage runs to 114 countries on partner networks rather than a single network, including T-Mobile Germany, Vodafone Portugal, Orange Romania, T-Mobile Austria, Proximus and Telenor Sverige, plus AeroMobile service on aircraft. The range is both regional and global, so a regional plan covers neighboring destinations while a global option reaches the rest of the world.

Frequently asked questions
How much do Bitė Lietuva roaming plans cost?+
Plans start at €10.99. Pricing is zoned, so the same data allowance costs more the further the destination sits from Lithuania: Europe is covered by the home plan with extra megabytes billed above the allowance, while the farthest zone is the priciest. Weekly and monthly options are both sold.
How many countries are covered and which networks are used?+
Coverage spans 114 countries on partner networks, including T-Mobile Germany, Vodafone Portugal, Orange Romania, T-Mobile Austria, Proximus and Telenor Sverige. It is a regional and global range, so you can pick a neighboring-country plan or a wider one. Aircraft service is listed through AeroMobile.
Is the data unlimited?+
Unlimited data is not offered, so every plan comes with a stated data allowance. Reference allowances range from a weekly block in the UK and the global option to monthly blocks in the US, Europe, Japan, Mexico, Thailand and Turkey. Top-ups are available, so heavy use can be extended.
Can I share data with a laptop or other devices?+
Hotspot sharing is not included. The fair use policy also treats putting the SIM in a router, modem, tablet or PC instead of a phone as unfair use, alongside shared traffic, non-personal use and roaming far above domestic use, after which service can be restricted or standard rates charged.
What support is available?+
Help runs on phone, chat and help centre, so a traveler can call, chat, email or use the help centre. It is a carrier rather than a marketplace seller, which means the roaming plans sit alongside the operator's own home network service in Lithuania.
How do I get the eSIM and is it instant?+
Instant activation is a listed feature, and the plans are sold as a carrier plan, so they are part of an operator's own service rather than a stand-alone travel product. You can pick a set-up for a short trip or a long trip depending on how long you are away.
How long are the plans valid?+
Both weekly and monthly validity are sold, so short trips and long trips are covered. A weekly block is available for the UK and the global option, while monthly blocks cover the US, Japan, Mexico, Thailand, Turkey and Europe. Weekly packs suit a brief stop, monthly ones a longer stay.
How does it compare with other eSIM sellers?+
Zwitchy covers 200 countries, more than the 114 here, and eSIMGo.is starts at $0.99 against €10.99 at Bitė Lietuva. SimToIsrael is a single-country offer from $25. Bitė Lietuva trades breadth of country count against the back-up of a home network and phone support.
