Pros and cons
Pros
- Packs start at €13.50 for 92 countries and territories
- Top-ups are available, so data can be extended mid-trip
- Support runs on phone, email and chat
- Roaming across the Europe EEZ+ is included in home tariffs without extra charge
Cons
- Unlimited data is not offered, so heavy users can run out
- The fair use policy limits roaming in EEZ+ countries to temporary travel, and staying abroad permanently can mean an extra charge or restrictions
- The smallest pack still reaches 92 countries and territories, so coverage is broad while the allowance is capped
Who it suits
- Latvian residents taking a short holiday abroad
- Travellers who already hold a Bite home tariff and want travel data added to it
- Budget-first flyers who would rather add data to a carrier plan than buy a separate travel eSIM
Who should look elsewhere
- Anyone who needs a much wider map, since Zwitchy reaches 200 countries against 92 here
- Buyers shopping on entry price alone, since eSIMGo.is starts at $0.99 against €13.50 here
What data costs
Travel data starts at €13.50. The reference plans sit at the same price across several bundles: the US, UK and Isle of Man pack carries a larger allowance over a longer window, while Japan, Turkey, Mexico and Thailand get a smaller allowance over a shorter window. A small pack at the same price spans 92 countries and territories. Roaming across the Europe EEZ+ is included in home tariffs without extra charge.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Bite Latvija travel eSIM cost?+
Travel data starts at €13.50. The same figure shows across several reference plans: a larger allowance over a longer window for the US, UK and Isle of Man, a smaller allowance over a shorter window for Japan, Turkey, Mexico and Thailand, and a small pack that also costs €13.50.
How many countries do the Bite Latvija packs cover?+
Coverage stands at 92 countries, and the small pack is the one that spans the full list of countries and territories. Roaming across the Europe EEZ+ sits inside home tariffs without extra charge, so regional trips often need nothing more.
Can I top up data while I am abroad?+
Top-ups are available and activation is instant, so a small starting pack at €13.50 stays workable on a longer journey without waiting for a replacement eSIM once the included data is used up.
Is unlimited data available?+
No. Every pack sold carries a fixed allowance rather than unlimited data, so heavy streaming or long navigation can use it quickly across 92 countries. Top-ups add data when the allowance runs out, but the caps stay in place.
Who sells this travel eSIM?+
It is a carrier rather than a marketplace listing, operated from Latvia by SIA BITE Latvija. Buying travel data from the same operator that runs your home connection means the same bill and the same support team, reached through phone, email and chat.
Is this aimed at long trips or short ones?+
Bite Latvija is a budget option for short trips, with fixed packs starting at €13.50 and top-ups rather than a rolling allowance. Regional reach fits a holiday or a city break, not a settled move abroad.
Can I use the plans if I am living abroad rather than visiting?+
The fair use policy treats roaming in EEZ+ countries as a short-term travel allowance, so the packs behind 92 countries of coverage suit holidays rather than relocation. Anyone living abroad for most of the year risks an extra charge or restrictions under that policy.
