Our verdict
BH Telecom is a home carrier selling its own tourist plans, which suits travellers who want one wide roaming bundle and a large data allowance for the whole trip. It reaches 167 countries, and the unlimited option still sits under a fair use limit of Unlimited paket: 500 GB mobile internet, 30 day validity.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Coverage of 167 countries, well above the 74 median across plans on this site.
- Top-ups are available and instant activation is listed among the plan features (unlimited data, instant activation and carrier plan), so data can be added mid trip.
- Support runs on phone, email and help centre, and the plan comes from the carrier itself (carrier).
Cons
- 5G is not offered, and the service runs on BH Telecom 4G+ and 334 roaming partner operators.
- Entry pricing of BAM 31.70 is quoted in BAM, while eSIMGo.is lists $0.99, so the two are not directly comparable.
- The unlimited option is capped: Unlimited paket: 500 GB mobile internet, 30 day validity is the fair use limit that applies.
Who it suits
- Travellers on short trips who want wide coverage and a big allowance without comparing many sellers (short trip and long trip covers short and long trips).
- People heading across the region or further afield, since the footprint is both regional and global (regional and global).
- Travellers who would rather buy from a home network abroad than from a marketplace of resellers.
Who should look elsewhere
- Travellers who want the widest possible country list: Zwitchy covers 200 countries.
- Travellers who want the lowest entry price: eSIMGo.is lists $0.99.
- Travellers who need 5G should look at eSIMGo.is or Zwitchy first, since this plan does not offer it.
Where it works
You get 167 countries covered through a footprint described as regional and global (regional and global), which is a wide reach for a single home network. Service runs on BH Telecom 4G+ and 334 roaming partner operators, so you are using the operator's own network plus its roaming partners abroad. 5G is not part of the offer, so the plan focuses on data volume rather than the newest network generation.
The company behind it
The plan comes from the operator itself: BH Telecom d.d. Sarajevo, headquartered in Bosnia and Herzegovina and trading since 1993. That means you buy a carrier plan from a long established home network rather than a third party seller, and any question about the bundle goes back to the same company. Support runs on phone, email and help centre.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a BH Telecom tourist plan cost?+
Plans start at BAM 31.70, and a larger data bundle is listed at BAM 15. Both prices are set by the operator, and the unlimited option sits on top of that entry price rather than replacing it. If you are shopping purely on cost, weigh the entry point against $0.99 from eSIMGo.is.
Is the data really unlimited?+
Unlimited data is offered, though the fair use limit is Unlimited paket: 500 GB mobile internet, 30 day validity, so the cap matters more than the word unlimited. Read that limit before you commit. Travellers who plan to stream constantly on one trip may prefer an allowance they can see the size of.
How many countries does BH Telecom cover?+
The tourist offer covers 167 countries, which puts BH Telecom at 72 of 303 on the country count. That is wide reach for a home carrier, though Zwitchy lists 200 countries and stretches further.
Does BH Telecom offer 5G?+
No. 5G is not part of this offer, and the service runs on BH Telecom 4G+ and 334 roaming partner operators. If your phone only performs well on the newest generation, or you need very fast transfers, look at brands that do list 5G before settling on this plan.
How do I get help once I have the plan?+
Support runs on phone, email and help centre, so you can call, write or use the help centre. Because BH Telecom is the carrier selling the plan (carrier), the same company answers the question rather than a reseller sitting in between.
Is activation fast and can I top up?+
Instant activation is listed among the plan features (unlimited data, instant activation and carrier plan), and top-ups are available. Together those two points mean there is no long wait between buying and using the plan, and you can add data during the trip if the allowance goes faster than expected.
Who does this plan suit?+
It suits travellers on short trips who want wide coverage and a large allowance without comparing many sellers (short trip and long trip covers both short and long trips). It also suits anyone who prefers buying from a home network abroad rather than from a marketplace of resellers.
