Pros and cons
Pros
- Roaming across 130 countries, with regional and global options on the same carrier plan.
- instant activation and carrier plan means instant activation on a carrier plan, so there is little setup before a short trip.
- Top-ups are available, so a short bundle can be extended once it runs out.
- Support runs on email, phone and help centre, including phone and a help centre.
Cons
- Prices are quoted in Guinean francs from GNF 25,000, so buyers in other currencies have to convert first.
- The reference bundle is minutes based rather than data based, with an Africa allowance and a separate allowance for America and Asia.
- Coverage of 130 countries is narrower than Zwitchy at 200.
Who it suits
- Short-trip travellers whose route touches Africa and then North America or Asia.
- People who want one carrier plan with instant activation and top-ups rather than a marketplace voucher.
- Travellers who can pay in Guinean francs without converting a dollar price.
Who should look elsewhere
- Travellers who want the widest country list, since Zwitchy covers 200 countries.
- Travellers budgeting in dollars, since eSIMGo.is has a starting price of $0.99.
- Long-stay travellers, since the plan is filed under short trips on short trip and a longer stay is the reason to weigh SimToIsrael at $25 instead.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an Areeba Guinea international bundle cost?+
The international bundle is GNF 25,000, priced in Guinean francs. It carries a smaller allowance in Africa and a larger one across America and Asia, and it is sold as a carrier plan from GN rather than through a marketplace. Travellers paying in another currency will have to convert the price before they buy.
Does the bundle include data or only minutes?+
Only minutes. The reference bundle is built around minutes in Africa and minutes in America and Asia, not a data allowance, so streaming or heavy mapping will outrun it. The plan is aimed at short trips, listed under short trip, so the allowance is sized for a brief visit.
Where does the roaming actually work?+
Roaming covers 130 countries, and the named partners on the reference bundle include Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, Benin, Guinea-Bissau, Cameroon, South Africa, the US, Canada, China, India and Australia. Service runs on MTN, so coverage in a given city follows that network rather than every carrier there.
How is the plan set up before departure?+
It is a carrier plan from GN with instant activation, listed under instant activation and carrier plan, so the connection is set up through the carrier's own plan rather than a voucher bought elsewhere. One company handles the plan, the minutes and any top-up.
Can I add more minutes while I am abroad?+
Top-ups are available, so a short trip does not have to be fixed at purchase. The bundle is designed for short trips, and adding a top-up mid-journey is the usual way to extend it if minutes run out. Support is available on email, phone and help centre if you need help setting one up.
Who is this bundle built for?+
It sits in the short-trip segment, short trip, and the reference bundle mixes Africa with America and Asia rather than covering one region only. Region options on the carrier plan are listed as regional and global, so a traveller moving across continents can pick a plan that matches the route.
How does it compare with wider-reach rivals?+
Coverage of 130 countries is solid but narrower than Zwitchy at 200. Buyers who want the broadest country list have more room there, while eSIMGo.is has a starting price of $0.99 for anyone who prefers to pay in dollars. SimToIsrael starts at $25.
