Pros and cons
Pros
- Unlimited data comes as standard, with hotspot sharing and 5G listed under unlimited data, 5g and hotspot
- Bought straight from the carrier per carrier, with support on chat, phone and help centre
- Instant activation is part of the offer under unlimited data, 5g and hotspot, so the eSIM can be in place before departure
Cons
- Coverage is a single market at 1 country, so the plan stops at the border
- Entry price of €10.90 sits above €2.87, the level cheaper options reach
- The offer is local, which rules it out for a multi-country itinerary
Who it suits
- Travellers on a Croatia trip who want unlimited data and can stop counting gigabytes
- Hotspot users sharing one connection across a phone, tablet and laptop
- Readers who prefer a plan sold by the operator itself, with support on chat, phone and help centre
Who should look elsewhere
- Travellers crossing several borders: Zwitchy covers 200 countries, so a single-market plan is not enough
- Budget-first buyers: eSIMGo.is lists from $0.99, below €10.90
- Travellers whose destination is Israel, since SimToIsrael starts at $25 and the A1 Hrvatska offer is local
Where it works
A1 Hrvatska's tourist offer covers a single market, listed at 1 country, and the region is local. The eSIM runs on the carrier's own Croatian network, with 5G available for a recent handset. A traveller who crosses a border for the rest of the trip needs another plan, since the offer does not stretch beyond that market.
The company behind it
The plan comes from A1 Hrvatska d.o.o., a carrier based in Croatia and trading since 1999. Support runs through chat, phone and help centre, so a question about the eSIM reaches the company that sells it. For a visitor buying ahead of the trip, that means a single counterparty for the plan, the network and the help.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an A1 Hrvatska tourist eSIM cost?+
Entry plans are priced at €10.90, and the standard data tier is listed at €10.90. That places the offer above €2.87, the level where many of the cheaper eSIMs on the site sit, so buyers focused on the lowest entry price will find less elsewhere.
Is the data allowance really unlimited?+
Unlimited data is included, so a long stay does not mean watching a data cap. Hotspot sharing is supported too, which helps when a laptop or tablet needs the same connection. Readers heading beyond Croatia should note the offer is local, so it does not carry a trip across several countries.
Which countries does the eSIM cover?+
Coverage is a single market, listed at 1 country, and Croatia is where the plan is meant to be used. Anything past that border needs its own eSIM, so a reader with a multi-country route should price a wider plan instead.
Who is the eSIM sold by?+
The eSIM is sold by the carrier itself per carrier, registered as A1 Hrvatska d.o.o. and based in Croatia. The company has traded since 1999, so the network, the plan and the support all sit with the operator rather than a separate reseller.
How do I get help with the plan?+
Support runs through chat, phone and help centre, which gives both live and written routes to the same company. Activation and coverage questions therefore go to the carrier that issues the plan, before departure and while the traveller is abroad.
Can I share the connection with other devices?+
Hotspot sharing is included, so a phone can hand the connection to a laptop or tablet and to fellow travellers on the same plan. Combined with unlimited data, sharing does not have to stop when an allowance would otherwise run low.
Who is this plan built for?+
The offer is built for both short trips and long trips, listed under short trip and long trip, with Croatia as the destination it serves. A reader whose stay is local and whose main need is steady data will find it straightforward, and top-ups are available for a longer visit.
